Bookkeeper (Part-time, 3 Days Per Week)

The Role

Reporting to the Finance & Administrative Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions

• Performing bank and account reconciliations

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Processing supplier invoices, payments and receipts

• Maintaining and reconciling transactions in Xero

• Supporting GST and BAS preparation

• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes

• Identifying and resolving discrepancies

• Providing general administrative support as required

• Assisting with inventory management

• Working closely with the Finance & Administrative Director

Experience & Skills Required

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a manufacturing or start-up environment

• Strong hands-on experience with Xero

• Excellent knowledge of bank reconciliations

• Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Good understanding of GST and BAS

• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently

• High level of confidentiality and professionalism

• Experience with Tradex is preferred

• Ability to work under our fixed hybrid arrangement (2 days on-site St Leonards +1 day WFH)
