About the role

Harvest Doors and Windows is seeking a Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on production role based in Cannington, WA 6107, where you will be integral to our assembly and process operations. The Factory Hand position is essential to maintaining our production schedules and ensuring the quality of our door manufacturing processes. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers whilst maintaining safe and efficient working practices.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment on the production line

• Assembling component parts according to specifications and quality standards

• Performing repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

• Inspecting products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality requirements

• Loading and unloading materials and finished goods

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Following all standard operating procedures and safety protocols

• Reporting any equipment faults or quality issues to supervisors promptly

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the factory

• Valid drivers license is required

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual lifting and handling tasks

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent quality standards

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely

• Familiarity with basic machinery operation or willingness to learn

• Strong work ethic and reliability with a good attendance record

• Ability to work as part of small a team whilst also working independently

• Communication skills and the ability to report issues clearly to supervisors

• No formal qualifications required, but practical hands-on experience is valued
