About Us

The Rix Group is a progressive specialist contractor who leads the way in managing challenging and diverse ground engineering projects. We provide a multitude of ground stabilisation & ground support methodologies including piling, shotcrete (Inc gunite), rock bolting, soil nails & ground anchors.

The role - permanent full-time

Due to our current operational requirements and sustained growth, we are currently recruiting experienced drillers in to join our NSW & QLD Operations.

 Duties & Tasks

We require that you have extensive experience in:

·        Temporary/Permanent Ground Anchors;

·        Hollow Bar Anchors;

·        Rock Bolts;

·        Soil Nails;

·        Sand Anchors.

Types of rigs include, Soilmec, Hutte, JunJin, Ripamonte, Ingersoll Rand and Excavator Mounted Drill Masts.

Experience with:

·        Rotary, Top Hammer and DTH drilling systems;

·        Masts both hydraulic and Pneumatic mounted on a variety of equipment;

·        EWP operation for remote control drilling;

·        Ground anchor drilling and installation methods.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate some of the following:

• Minimum of 3 years Drilling experience;

• Ability to safely operate drilling rigs;

• EWP Operator (high risk work licence);

• Working at Heights national accreditation;

• Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card);

• Full Driving licence;

• Team Player;

• Demonstrate a strong safety culture and awareness.

Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
