The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our production team and support the day-to-day operation of our manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, leading shop floor personnel, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved. The role combines team leadership with practical maintenance and troubleshooting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production personnel.

• Coordinate daily manufacturing activities and production schedules.

• Allocate labour and resources to maximise productivity.

• Conduct toolbox talks and support employee training and development.

• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot equipment faults and minimise downtime.

• Maintain production, maintenance and quality records.

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance.

About You

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Leading Hand or Team Leader role.

• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Highly Regarded

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Engineering or Manufacturing.

• Forklift Licence.

• First Aid Certificate.

• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.

• Experience in composite manufacturing.
