The Role

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee our afternoon shift operations at our Eastern Creek facility. Reporting directly to the Production Manager NSW, you will lead and support Team Leaders across multiple work cells. Your primary focus will be executing production plans efficiently while upholding strict safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Leadership: Oversee afternoon shift operations, ensuring schedules are executed efficiently, on time, and targets are met.

• Team Management: Manage, coach, and develop Team Leaders; conduct regular performance reviews and manage appropriate staffing levels.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with company policies and WHS regulations, and lead safety incident investigations.

• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Address non-conformances, drive root-cause analysis, and lead lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and boost efficiency.

• Planning & Coordination: Partner with the Day Shift Planning Department to align production capacity with shifting demand priorities.

• Maintenance & Reporting: Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and prepare accurate production metrics for senior management.

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Factory Supervisor, or Senior Team Leader in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor operations, and lean manufacturing/WHS regulations.

• Hands-on leadership style with a strong, visible presence on the production floor.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Ability to effectively manage people, output, and competing priorities under pressure.
