As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting clients, developing junior team members and delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a portfolio of clients across a range of industries

• Providing technical guidance, coaching and feedback to junior team members

• Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements prepared by junior accountants

• Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients

• Identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen client outcomes

• Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional client service

• Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming a valued adviser in their corner

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting

• CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)

• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements

• Experience working within public practice accounting

• Excellent client relationship and communication skills

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Experience using Xero, including a working knowledge of payroll

• A genuine interest in technology and finding smarter ways to work

• A desire to mentor and support the development of others
