They’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Broker Analyst to take ownership of broker scenarios from initial enquiry through to settlement.

This is a fast-paced, relationship-focused role where your responsiveness, judgement and attention to detail will directly influence the broker experience. You’ll assess and structure scenarios, drive conditional approvals within SLA, and work closely with brokers, Business Development Managers, Credit and Operations to convert opportunities into funded deals.

• Take end-to-end ownership of allocated broker scenarios, responding quickly and managing each opportunity through the lending process.
• Assess scenarios against credit policy and provide brokers with clear, accurate and honest feedback.
• Structure deals correctly from the outset, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate and positioned for an efficient credit decision.
• Drive eligible scenarios to conditional approval within the one-business-day SLA.
• Follow up missing information and documentation promptly while keeping brokers informed throughout the process.
• Educate brokers on submission quality, documentation requirements and bank-data expectations.
• Support brokers with accreditation, portal and application-related enquiries.
• Manage conditionally approved deals through credit, contracts and funding to maximise settlement conversion.
• Partner with the national BDM team to coordinate broker relationships, pipeline priorities and effective handovers.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of scenarios, activities and pipeline movements within the CRM and sales tools.
• Work towards quarterly scenario-volume and conditional-approval-to-settlement conversion targets.
• Operate within credit policy, responsible lending requirements and the companies standards of conduct.
• Represent the company brand professionally and accurately in every broker interaction.

• Experience in broker support, lending, credit analysis, loan processing or a similar financial-services position.
• The ability to assess lending scenarios and structure quality submissions within established credit policy.
• A strong understanding of the lending process, from initial scenario and conditional approval through to settlement.
• A proven ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet demanding service-level expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to give brokers clear and honest answers.
• Strong relationship-management skills and a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding broker experience.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with BDMs, Credit, Operations and other internal stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-through.
• Confidence using CRM, pipeline-management and sales-activity systems.
• A sound understanding of responsible lending, compliance obligations and professional conduct expectations.
