Are you passionate about creating fun, safe, and organised environments that support children’s learning and development? GymbaROO is looking for a dedicated and energetic Equipment Set Up Person to join our team.

About the Role:
As an Equipment Set Up Person, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our programs run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for setting up and packing away equipment in line with lesson plans and safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and contributing to a positive atmosphere for children, parents, and carers.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up equipment according to weekly maps and program guidelines.

• Ensure all equipment is clean, secure, and in good working order.

• Maintain a safe setup by using appropriate mats, and straps, and ensuring no trip hazards.

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver a fun, supportive environment.

• Communicate with the centre manager about equipment needs or issues.

• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• A team player with excellent communication abilities.

• Honest, ethical, and dependable with a sense of humour and adaptability.

• Passionate about creating a safe, engaging space for children to thrive.

Physical and Practical Requirements:

• Ability to handle and move equipment safely.

• Familiarity with OH&S principles.

• Available to arrive on time and ensure setup is complete before classes begin. Hours are approximately 7am to 9am.
