We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales & Dispatch Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day running of our sales and dispatch functions.

About the Role

Working closely with our Sales & Dispatch Coordinator, you’ll provide support across internal sales, customer service, order processing and dispatch administration.

This is a varied role suited to someone who understands a manufacturing, building products or distribution environment and enjoys working across both customers and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries by phone and email

• Prepare quotes and enter sales orders

• Follow up customer orders and provide updates

• Prepare pick slips, freight labels and dispatch paperwork

• Track deliveries and resolve basic freight enquiries

• Liaise with the warehouse regarding orders and priorities

• Assist with stock checks and general administration

• Identify and report stock shortages or discrepancies

Skills & Experience

• Experience in internal sales, preferably within manufacturing, building products, timber or a similar industry

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Confident communication and phone manner

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced small‑team environment

• Competent with computers and able to learn new systems

• A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to support the team
