Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, part of the St Johns Park Bowling Club Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing quality food, enjoys working as part of a supportive team and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook quality meals with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
• Complete food preparation and assist with smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and WHS requirements.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimising food wastage.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful and team-focused kitchen culture.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Relevant cookery qualifications.
• Passion for quality food and customer satisfaction.
• Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Above all, you’ll take pride in great food, great service and building a kitchen team that works well together.

Pay: $37.20 – $52.09 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tuncurry NSW 2428: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Chef: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
