Service Advisor/Parts Sales

Are you someone who knows trucks, enjoys dealing with customers and likes a role where there’s always something happening?

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Advisor / Parts Salesperson to join our busy truck dealership team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in trucks, automotive, agricultural machinery, parts or mechanical service who enjoys working with customers and being part of a hands-on team.

You’ll be the link between our customers, workshop and parts department – helping keep trucks on the road and our customers moving.

What you’ll be doing

• Booking trucks in for servicing, repairs and maintenance

• Liaising with customers regarding repairs, costs and expected completion times

• Preparing job cards, quotes and invoices

• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process

• Identifying, sourcing and selling truck parts

• Handling parts enquiries over the phone, counter and email

• Ordering and receipting stock

• Working closely with technicians to ensure the correct parts are available

• Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers

• Helping keep the workshop and parts department running smoothly

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you’ll ideally have:

• Experience in truck, automotive, diesel, agricultural or parts/service environments

• Good mechanical knowledge or an interest in heavy vehicles

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone

• Good computer and administration skills

• The ability to stay organised when things get busy

• A positive, practical and team-focused attitude

Previous Service Advisor, Parts Interpreter or Parts Sales experience would be highly regarded.
