Industrial Spray Painter

We are looking for an Industrial Painter!

Responsibilities

• Painting heavy equipment for the mining and transport industry where the standards are high and the finish needs to be fantastic

• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.

• Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces, addressing any defects or issues to meet stringent quality standards.

• Prepare safe work areas using ladders, movable and immovable staging to ensure suitable access to products during coating.

• Handle painted items without damage to surfaces.

• Prepare work areas for surface treatment activities with consideration given to safe work requirements and adjacent work areas/plant/equipment to prevent overspray and paint splatter.

•  Carry out quality testing to ensure compliance with relevant procedures and standards and produce required records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Painter, preferably in the mining and transportation industry.

• Familiarity with various painting techniques, equipment, and materials.

• Knowledge of industrial coatings and methods

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Understanding of safety procedures and protocols in an industrial setting.

• You MUST have a reliable way to and from work daily.
