Deliver engaging nursing education through clinical, simulation and online teaching while supporting student success and curriculum excellence.

About the Position
As an Associate Lecturer in Nursing, you will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across clinical, simulation, and online learning environments, supporting nursing students throughout their academic journey. 

You will contribute to course delivery, assessment, curriculum development, and clinical facilitation while collaborating with academic staff to enhance the student experience. Through teaching, scholarly activity, and industry engagement, you will help shape future nursing professionals and contribute to the ongoing excellence of the School of Nursing.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

• Relevant experience in the teaching and learning within the healthcare industry
• Holder of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline of nursing gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar.
• Ability and willingness to contribute to unit/program resource and development within the context and requirements of a quality education provider. 
• Excellent professional teamwork and communication skills, including oral, written, information communication technology (ICT) and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and use flexible/online computer-based learning materials to suit the needs of a diverse student body.
• Demonstrated commitment to applying culturally respectful, inclusive and safe practices in the workplace
• Commitment to the University’s values.

Desirable: 

• Significant progress towards completion and a commitment to undertake further study in Honours / Masters / PhD
• Experience in Higher Education teaching, curriculum development, unit coordination, formation of student assessments and evaluation of units and courses.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $76,604 - $114,924 annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $89,626 - $134,461 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
