Casual Position

About the Role: 

We are seeking a locally based Registered Nurse for a casual position, supporting our team at our Fassifern Aged Care Service.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is flexible and available to pick up shifts as needed. You will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards and supporting both residents and care staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Medication administration and clinical documentation
• Conducting baseline and focused clinical assessments
• Reviewing and updating care plans
• Wound care management
• Supporting and leading care staff on shift
• Liaising with residents, families and staff
• Ensuring compliance with aged care standards and policies

About You 

Are you somebody who is passionate about delivering quality Aged Care services to the local community?  

Essential: 

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience working in aged care
• Skilled in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and updating care plans
• Current First Aid, CPR Certificate, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable with ad hoc shifts
• Lives locally or within reasonable distance
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
