Piling Labourer/Operator

In Ground Projects are a well-established South Australian specialist foundation contractor providing design and construct foundation and retaining wall solutions to multiple sectors of the construction industry.

We are currently seeking a Piling Labourer / Operator to join our team to assist on a range of commercial projects across the Adelaide CBD. The position is site based, full time and is viewed as a long-term role for a suitable enthusiastic applicant.

Working as part of our experienced piling crew, you will assist with the safe and efficient operation of piling equipment and general site activities.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the operation of piling rigs, excavators and associated equipment

• Supporting the piling crew with set-up, pack-up and day-to-day site activities

• Operating plant and equipment where appropriately licensed and experienced

• General labouring and manual handling duties

• Assisting with the installation of piles and ground support systems

• Maintaining equipment, tools and the work area

• Following all site safety procedures and company requirements

• Working as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently

About You:

We are looking for people who are reliable and comfortable working in a hands-on construction environment.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in piling, foundations, or civil construction (favourable)

• Competent operator with relevant plant tickets (favourable)

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• White Card (essential)

• HR or MR licence (highly desirable)

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical/drug testing

• Ability to perform physically demanding manual work and be comfortable working outdoors

• Understanding of site safety and the importance of following safe work practices

• Willing to learn, work well as part of a team and follow direction
