Customer Service & Sales Coordinator

Tilley Soaps is a recognised Australian Contract Manufacturer of quality Personal Care, Home Fragrance and Bath and Body products with over 150 years of history.

We work with an exciting and diverse catalogue of over 5,000 products for both company-owned and private label brands, and currently service over 2,000 retailers nationally and internationally within the gift, pharmacy, grocery and FMCG sectors. 

About the role

The Customer Service & Sales Coordinator plays a key role within the Commercial team, responsible for supporting Branded customers through proactive sales activity, order processing, and high-quality customer service. This position acts as a first point of contact for incoming enquiries and builds strong relationships with customers to drive sales performance. The role also involves administrative support, data entry, and assisting with trade events and in-person customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth to branded Tilley customer accounts, working to achieve set sales targets and increase revenue

• Proactively contact prospective customers using warm leads to generate new business and maintain loyalty with existing accounts

• Conduct regular outbound sales calls to current customers, lapsed clients, and prospective accounts, to consistently grow revenue and build relationships

• Manage inbound customer orders via phone, email, and website platforms

• Assist customers with general product inquiries, complaint resolution, returns, and order updates

• Process invoices, maintain accurate records, and manage ERP data entries

• Deliver exceptional customer service through timely communication and professional interactions

• Monitor and respond to multiple customer service inboxes efficiently

• Maintain and update customer information in ERP and future CRM systems (e.g., Sage, Salesforce)

• Attend trade shows and industry events as required, with occasional interstate travel, providing professional face-to-face customer service

About you

• Proven customer service and sales experience, displaying a customer-first attitude

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Display professional phone manner

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office; Excel)

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support after-hours events as required
