Pay Rate: From $41.00 per hour + Sunday / Public holiday penalties

Inspired by the iconic Forrest Gump story, this globally recognised seafood restaurant has arrived in Australia / Brisbane bringing bold flavours, fun energy, and genuine southern hospitality.

We’re looking for passionate / experienced Wait Staff to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences for every guest.

As a member of our Front of House team, you’ll deliver warm, professional service in a fast-paced environment while creating the fun and welcoming atmosphere Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is known for.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
• Welcome, seat, and engage with guests throughout their dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
• Recommend menu items and promotions through suggestive selling.
• Serve food and drinks to company standards.
• Monitor tables and respond to guest needs promptly.
• Maintain clean, organised, and welcoming dining areas.
• Process customer payments including cash and EFTPOS.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, RSA, and WHS requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Front of House and kitchen teams.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in hospitality a la carte / full table service is preferred.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Food Safety Certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Well-presented with a professional approach.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Australian working rights.
