AM Shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm
PM Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm

This is an opportunity to be part of a specialised, recovery-focused program supporting people living with severe and persistent mental illness as they transition from long-term hospital mental health care into independent community living.
Working within a shared model of care, you’ll support consumers living in self-contained units across two sites, helping them build confidence, develop practical life skills and work towards the recovery goals that matter most to them. Every day is different, with a balance of direct consumer support, collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and opportunities to make a genuine impact on someone’s recovery journey.
Your day will include participating in handover, reviewing the shared calendar, completing medication observations alongside a colleague, supporting consumers in the community, and contributing to a safe, supportive and recovery-oriented environment. You’ll also benefit from regular team meetings, operational supervision and group clinical supervision as part of a highly supportive team culture.
About You In the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll work alongside consumers to support their individual recovery goals and promote independence, choice and community participation.
