Assistant Dealership Accountant

 As an Assistant Accountant, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspect of accounting. Under the mentorship you will assist in financial data analysis and financial reporting. You’ll be exposed to diverse accounting tasks that will help you build a strong foundation for a successful career in finance. 

Position Overview:

•  Support Senior Financial Accountant with preparation of the monthly reconciliations, posting journals and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards 

• Conducting financial reports in accordance with timelines and policies, providing analysis to stakeholders

• Assisting in the preparation of BAS, FBT return, Income tax schedules and other statutory requirements

• Management of fixed assets, including disposals and additions

• Assist in company insurance claims 

• Assisting with stocktake 

 Requirements:

•  Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant Accounting/Finance discipline 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounting
