About the Role: 

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Service and Parts Administrator to join our dynamic team. This key role will support all operations at our Unanderra facility, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of activities. The Workshop Administrator will play a vital role in compliance, and safety, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role is essential for maintaining our high standards of warehouse management and operational efficiency. 

This role would be suited a current or ex Heavy Vehicle mechanic looking for a career change or someone who is mechanically minded and has a thorough knowledge and passion for heavy vehicles.

What the Role Entails: 

• Utilising internal systems to effectively report on Fleet and co-ordinate between Murrells divisions to ensure smooth operations and communication.

• Strong relationship building skills and maintaining key contacts with local and regional suppliers.

• Accountable for timely and accurate updates on all maintenance activity, with a focus on asset availability and operational requirements.

• Key focus on the workshop operations in areas of Parts, Warranties and Fleet Scheduling, whilst responding to direct workshop inquiries to ensure the provision of accurate information is established.

About You:

• Proven experience in a workshop or administration role, preferably in the Heavy Vehicle transport and logistics industry. 

• Excellent understanding of workshop operations, including inventory management, compliance, communication, and safety standards. 

• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency. 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the workings and parts associated with Heavy Vehicles.
