The Finance and Procurement Services Directorate supports DTMI through financial governance, corporate resource allocation, procurement services, budget management, financial systems administration and strategic financial advice.
The Opportunity
The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) establishing a pool of suitably experienced Financial Systems Support Officers and Financial Systems Analysts to fill current and future vacancies within the Finance and Procurement department supporting the ongoing development, maintenance and enhancement of our financial systems.

As a Financial System Officer Level 4 you will:

A current national police clearance certificate incorporating criminal and traffic convictions and infringements is required for this position.
Pool information
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made for this or similar future vacancies, fixed term or permanent, full-time or part-time, that arise within the next twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment across the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure.
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain a current National Police Clearance prior to commencement.

(SC-A) Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the implementation and support of a corporate financial management system such as Oracle EBusiness Suite or a corporate business system.
(SC-B) Proven research, analytical and conceptual skills and abilities in providing solutions and resolving issues in a large and complex corporate finance or business system.
(SC-C) Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders in various contexts
