About the Role

Slater Plumbing Services is looking for an experienced Qualified Plumber / Tradesman to join our growing team in Warradale, SA.

We’re a growing, family-owned plumbing business servicing Adelaide, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, reliability and great customer service.

No two days are the same. We carry out everything from small maintenance jobs through to complete plumbing installations on new custom homes and renovations, giving our team plenty of variety and the opportunity to work across all areas of the trade.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work confidently on their own, and is also capable of leading and working within a team.

What You'll Be Doing

Your work will include a wide range of residential plumbing, including:

• New custom homes

• Renovations and extensions

• General plumbing maintenance

• Blocked drains and drain repairs

• CCTV drain inspections

• Hydro jet drain cleaning

• Stormwater and sewer installations and repairs

• Hot water system installations and replacements

• Gas fitting and gas appliance installations

• Water filtration systems

• Excavation and underground plumbing using our own machinery

• Reading plans and completing plumbing installations to specification

• Diagnosing faults and providing practical, effective solutions

• Communicating professionally with clients, builders and other trades

• Ensuring work is completed safely and to relevant Australian Standards and regulations

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of plumbing equipment and machinery while continuing to develop your skills across different areas of the trade.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified plumber with the appropriate South Australian registration/licensing

• Has solid experience working as a qualified tradesman

• Takes pride in producing high-quality work

• Has strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Can confidently work independently and manage jobs

• Can lead when required while also working well as part of a team

• Has strong attention to detail

• Is reliable, punctual and organised

• Communicates professionally with clients and other trades

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Holds a current driver's licence

• Takes responsibility for their work and looks after company equipment and vehicles

• Is looking for a long-term position and wants to grow with the business

Experience across maintenance, renovations, new homes, drainage, gas and hot water is highly regarded; however, having the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn is just as important to us.

Slater Plumbing Services is a locally owned and operated plumbing business based in Warradale and servicing Adelaide.

We work across a broad range of residential plumbing, from general maintenance and blocked drains through to renovations, extensions and complete plumbing installations for custom homes.

We have our own specialist equipment and machinery, allowing us to complete drainage, CCTV inspections, hydro jetting, excavation and underground plumbing in-house.
