Team members work in a patient-focused environment that combines advanced technology with personalized care.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Dallas/ Crsigieburn, VIC. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including vision assessments and ocular health checks, using modern diagnostic equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and managing common eye conditions, providing evidence-based treatment plans, and referring patients for specialist care when required. The role involves prescribing spectacles and contact lenses, advising patients on lens options and eyewear suited to their needs, and collaborating with the dispensing team to ensure accurate and comfortable fittings. The Optometrist will maintain detailed clinical records, support bulk billing procedures, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and patient-centered practice environment.Qualifications Current qualification in Optometry and registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant optometry board in Australia. 2+ years experince a MUST.Arabic and Turkish speaking is an advantage.Strong clinical skills in comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and management of common ocular conditions, and prescription of spectacles and contact lenses.Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and clinical software accurately and efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain clinical findings clearly and provide patient education in an accessible way.Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and working with a diverse patient population of all ages.Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills in a busy clinical setting.Ability to work collaboratively with optical dispensers, reception, and other healthcare professionals.Experience with bulk billing and familiarity with relevant healthcare funding processes is an advantage.Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in optometry and eye care.
