We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance & Safety Coordinator to join our team in Geebung.

This is a hands-on, site-based role combining day-to-day quality assurance and workplace safety activities. You don't need years of experience across both areas. We are looking for someone practical, organised and willing to learn, with training and ongoing support provided in our quality systems, products and processes.

In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day quality assurance and workplace safety activities across our Geebung manufacturing site.

This is an operational role with a strong presence on the factory floor. You will be involved in inspections, quality checks, safety observations, incident and hazard reporting, corrective actions and maintaining accurate records.

• Conduct routine quality checks and inspections in accordance with established procedures.

• Maintain quality records, registers and supporting documentation.

• Identify, record and assist with the management of product and process non-conformances.

• Assist with product testing and verification activities once trained.

• Support internal and external quality audits and follow up required actions.

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, observations and hazard identification.

• Assist with incident, injury, hazard and near-miss reporting and investigations.

• Monitor and follow up quality and safety corrective actions through to completion.

• Assist with toolbox talks, safety communications and site safety initiatives.

• Maintain accurate safety records, registers and compliance documentation.

• Promote a positive approach to quality, safety and continuous improvement across the site.

• Some experience or exposure to workplace safety, quality, manufacturing, compliance or a similar operational environment.

• A practical and hands-on approach, with confidence working within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Good communication skills and confidence engaging with employees and supervisors.

• Ability to identify issues and follow actions through to completion.

• Good organisational and time management skills.

• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.

• Willingness to learn our products, manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or similar qualification would be highly regarded.

• Previous Quality Assurance experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
