About the role
Are you passionate about helping people learn, grow and embrace change? Do you enjoy a role that combines learning design, facilitation, stakeholder engagement and travel? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
Ozcare is embarking on an exciting transformation journey with the implementation of Dayforce, a new people, payroll, workforce management, recruitment and learning platform. As our Learning & Adoption Specialist, you'll play a critical role in preparing employees and leaders for success by developing engaging learning solutions and delivering impactful training across Queensland.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of Ozcare's largest strategic projects and make a lasting organisation-wide impact.
About the role
Reporting into the Dayforce Project team, you'll be responsible for designing, coordinating and delivering learning and adoption activities that support business readiness throughout the Dayforce implementation.
Unlike a traditional training role, you'll have the opportunity to own the end-to-end learning experience, from creating engaging content and coordinating logistics through to facilitating training sessions and supporting employees through change.
You'll work closely with project team members, leaders and subject matter experts while travelling across Queensland to support frontline teams where they work.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop engaging training materials, guides, job aids and support resources
Coordinate training schedules, logistics and stakeholder communications
Deliver high-quality face-to-face and virtual training programs
Support employees and leaders through system and process changes
Partner with project teams and subject matter experts to maintain accurate learning content
Monitor participation, feedback and learning effectiveness to drive continuous improvement
Manage training environments, sample data and supporting documentation
Build strong relationships with leaders and employees across the organisation
Contribute to change management and business readiness activities
About you
You're an engaging facilitator, confident communicator and organised professional who enjoys helping people navigate change. You can comfortably balance training coordination, learning design and delivery while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Experience developing and delivering workplace training programs
A current driver's license and willingness to undertake extensive intrastate travel are essential
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Learning design and training material development experience
Excellent organisational and time management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a project environment
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
The ability to translate complex information into simple, practical learning solutions
A proactive, adaptable and self-motivated approach
A customer-focused mindset and positive attitude
Highly regarded:
Experience supporting technology implementations, systems rollouts or organisational change initiatives
Experience working with HRIS, workforce management or enterprise software platforms
Travel requirements:
This role involves significant travel throughout Queensland.
You'll spend time working from Ozcare services including residential aged care homes, community care branches and corporate locations, delivering training and supporting adoption activities.
During peak implementation periods, travel may be frequent and can involve extended periods away from home while supporting multiple sites and regions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, connecting with people face-to-face and making a direct impact where services are delivered.
What's on offer?
This is more than a training role. It's an opportunity to be at the centre of a major organisational transformation, helping thousands of employees adopt new technology and ways of working. You'll enjoy variety, autonomy and the chance to build meaningful relationships across Queensland while making a genuine impact on the future of Ozcare.
5 weeks annual leave
Salary packaging to increase your take-home pay
Opportunity to be part of one of Ozcare's largest strategic projects
Organisation-wide exposure and impact
A varied role combining learning design, facilitation and change support
