About the role

Our remarkable Member Experience team currently has opportunities for Sales and Retention Advisors to join us in permanent or fixed term roles based in our Geelong head office. We are excited to be on the search for talented people to join our team and are looking forward to connecting with candidates with a diverse range of backgrounds, skills and experiences.

A typical day might include:

• Connecting with new and existing members through inbound and outbound conversations to understand their needs and recommend tailored private health insurance solutions.
• Helping prospective members navigate their options and choose the cover that's right for them.
• Supporting existing members by proactively reaching out, addressing concerns, and finding solutions that help them stay with GMHBA.
• Welcoming new members and guiding them through their onboarding journey with confidence and care.
• Participating in targeted sales campaigns designed to grow our membership community.
• Building trust through genuine conversations, strong product knowledge, and a member-first approach.
• Achieving sales and retention goals while contributing to a high-performing and supportive team.
• Maintaining accurate member information and ensuring compliance requirements are met.

About you

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (or similar tools) will be important for your success. You'll receive full training in our customer relationship management software, so don't let a lack of experience in that space deter you from applying.

What you need to know

• These roles commence on 27th October 2026 with four weeks full time paid training, to get you ready to connect with our members.
• Candidates must be available to attend one morning or afternoon assessment centre on Tuesday 8th September.
• You will work on a roster across our operational hours of 8:00 to 6:00 Monday to Friday
• We can only accept applications if you have the right to work in Australia
• The commencing base salary for this position is $72,334 per annum ($36.61 per hour) + Superannuation.
