UC Dental is a privately owned, established practice with 30+ staff and a friendly, collaborative team culture. Our purpose-built facility, just 2 years old, is designed for modern dentistry and ongoing growth.

With a team of 30+ professionals and expanding, we are preparing for the upcoming retirement of our Practice Manager and are seeking an experienced, capable leader to step into this pivotal role.

The Role

As Practice Manager (Full-Time - Monday to Friday), you will:

• Lead the day-to-day workflow and manage team performance

• Mentor and develop staff to reach their full potential

• Oversee HR, rostering, and performance management

• Ensure compliance with workplace policies, professional standards, and infection control

• Good understanding of industrial relations, modern awards, and employment rules

• Take ownership of financial management, including:

  • Manage monthly accounts

  • Review practice financial performance and KPIs

• Drive improvements and support practice growth

You will report to the Operations Manager, who oversees the broader strategic direction of the practice, allowing you to concentrate and focus on leadership and the smooth running of daily operations.

About You

• Proven experience in dental or health practice management

• Skilled in dental software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office

• Strong knowledge of Industrial Awards and employment laws

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Calm, organised, and solutions-focused under pressure

• Belief in mentoring/development of the team - supporting staff to reach their full potential through guidance, training, and structured development

• Passionate about fostering a positive, engaging, and collaborative team environment
