Rig Operator

ConsultANZ is currently looking for Rig Operators to join a well-known piling contractor in Perth as their workload grows.

Main Duties

• Coordinating activities of workers engaged in piling and ground improvements for structures such as bridges, retaining walls for earth embankments, and cofferdams.
• Directing the workers engaged in operating machines to drive piling and sheets. 
• In-charge of ensuring all quality assurance on-site.
• Enforcing all OH&S procedures.
• Management of staff and labour of own team and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Ideally, you have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an Operator, Crawler Crane experience in Piling, Civil Earthworks, or Mining.
• Experience with Bauer, Liebherr, Kobelco is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• A good understanding of general construction and safety workplace procedures.
• Self-driven and ability to work both autonomously and under supervision.
