The Opportunity
As People and Culture Manager, you will be a key member of the CG&C Group leadership team and lead our people strategy across multiple businesses and locations.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with practical implementation. You will work closely with leaders across the Group to build capability, strengthen culture, attract and retain talent, and ensure our people practices continue to evolve alongside the business.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to:

Performance management and organisational effectiveness
HR systems, processes and compliance
Strategic people initiatives aligned with business objectives
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the executive and leadership team to align people strategies with business goals and future growth.
Lead and continuously improve the Group's People and Culture framework.
Coach, mentor and support leaders to build capable, accountable and high-performing teams.
Drive leadership development, succession planning and career pathway initiatives.
Lead workforce planning, recruitment and talent attraction strategies.
Support leaders in managing employee relations, performance and workplace matters.
Oversee remuneration reviews, workforce capability planning and organisational development initiatives.
Analyse workforce trends and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain practical and compliant HR policies, systems and processes that support business performance.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and contemporary HR practices across the Group.
About You
You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with people and leaders to achieve meaningful outcomes.
You will ideally bring:
Significant experience in a senior HR leadership or business partnering role.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
Demonstrated success developing leaders and supporting organisational growth.
Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
A practical, commercially minded approach to solving people challenges.
Excellent communication, judgement and interpersonal skills.
Experience working across multiple sites or business units.
The ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of an organisation.
A proactive mindset with the initiative to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing or other operational industries will be highly regarded, although not essential.
