SMART Apprenticeship Solutions and SQUAD Employment & Training are seeking an experienced GTO Regional Manager to lead our Field Officer team and champion high‑quality apprenticeship and traineeship outcomes across QLD/NSW/VIC.

What You Will Lead and Deliver

• Safety leadership — champion zero harm, zero tolerance, and ensure every apprentice/trainee receives a full safety induction before placement.
• Stakeholder engagement — build strong relationships with host employers, industry groups, schools, RTOs, ACAP providers and government stakeholders.
• Caseload growth — drive regional strategies that increase commencements, retention and successful completions.
• People leadership — coach and mentor Field Officers, manage performance, and build a high‑performing, values‑driven team.
• Quality & compliance — ensure all GTO documents, contracts, WHS records and CRM data are accurate, current and compliant.
• Financial performance — manage regional budgets, monitor financial reports, and identify opportunities to improve sustainability.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in the Australian Apprenticeships, VET, GTO or employment services sector.
• Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and achieve KPI‑driven outcomes.
• High‑level stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Confidence interpreting awards, guidelines, legislation and GTO standards.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and analytical capability.
• Commitment to safety leadership and child safety principles.
• Resilience, adaptability and a genuine passion for supporting apprentices and trainees.
• A tertiary qualification in business, education, community services or a related field is desirable — however, equivalent industry experience within the GTO or Australian Apprenticeships sector is highly regarded.
