The Opportunity

Working in our warehouse and cold storage operations, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and materials handling equipment. The role supports loading and unloading, accurate stock movement, equipment checks and effective communication to keep freight on time and in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and approved materials handling equipment safely and professionally in accordance with licences and site traffic rules

• Load, unload, stage and move refrigerated freight while maintaining cold-chain integrity and preventing damage

• Complete daily pre-start and safety checks, report defects and support equipment care

• Assist with receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, stock rotation and dispatch activities

• Accurately complete WMS transactions, scanners and paperwork, and escalate stock or temperature issues promptly

About You

• Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift Truck (LF)

• Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in warehouse, loading dock or yard environments

• Understanding of forklift safety, load handling, pedestrian separation, traffic management and cold storage practices

• Ability to follow WHS and food safety requirements and communicate clearly with your team

• Experience with refrigerated freight, warehouse management systems, RF scanners and pallet control processes (desirable)
