Description:
About the Payroll Officer Role:
In this role you will manage the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance and providing trusted advice on payroll and employment conditions.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a 12 month fixed-term part-time role (0.6 FTE).
This role requires on-site attendance on Mondays and Tuesdays during pay week, with flexibility around your remaining hours and days, including the option to work in a hybrid arrangement. The role is based in our Northern Suburbs offices.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
Process fortnightly payroll accurately, on time and in complianceMaintain payroll data, records and employee changes Provide expert advice on pay, entitlements, awards and legislationMonitor payroll systems, processes and reporting for accuracyLead payroll improvements, system changes and compliance initiatives
To succeed in this role you will have:
Proven payroll experience, including award interpretationStrong industrial instrument interpretation and applicationHigh level of accuracy with strong analytical skillsExcellent communication, negotiation and relationship skillsAbility to solve problems and manage competing priorities
