Project Engineer - Civil & Environmental Remediation

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to successfully deliver civil remediation projects across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate, working closely with site supervisors, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role with variety across technical engineering, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the project manager in planning, programming, and delivery of projects.

2. Prepare project documentation, manage procurement activities, and purchase orders.

3. Manage contract administration and progress claims.

4. Monitor project costs, variations, extensions of time and financial performance.

5. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.

6. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards including site safety inspections

7. Administer daily, weekly, and monthly tracking of project delivery to plan and budget costs

About You

You are proactive engineer with strong communication skills with the ability to balance quality, safety, and profitable project delivery.

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering civil construction projects

2. A Bachelor of Civil Engineering

3. A current White Card (Construction Induction Card).

4. A current Australian Driver's Licence.

5. Sound knowledge of contract administration, procurement, civil construction, and engineering principles.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using project management software such as Jobpac

7. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
