Field Technician – IT Hero - Casual Position
Location: Reynella, South Australia Company: IT HeroRole: Field TechnicianIT Hero is looking for a reliable, practical and motivated Field Technician to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is good with their hands, comfortable using tools, understands the basics of computers and technology, and is willing to learn.This is a hands-on field role where you’ll travel to customer sites and assist with the installation, setup and basic troubleshooting of IT equipment.
What You’ll Be DoingAttend customer sites to complete scheduled jobsInstall and replace IT and communications equipmentSet up computers, monitors, printers and other devicesAssist with basic network and cabling tasksMount and install equipment where requiredUse hand and power tools safelyFollow job instructions and technical documentationPerform basic troubleshootingTake photos and document completed workCommunicate professionally with customers and the IT Hero teamWhat We’re Looking ForYou must have:A current Australian driver's licenceYour own reliable vehicleGood practical skills and confidence using hand toolsA basic understanding of computers and ITGood problem-solving skillsThe ability to follow instructions and work independentlyGood communication and customer service skillsReliability and a professional attitudeA willingness to learn
