The Opportunity

Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Trainee to join a professional office team in Ballarat.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable administration experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop practical business skills, build confidence in a workplace environment, and establish a strong foundation for a successful career in administration.
Position Details

• Location: Ballarat, VIC
• Employment Type: Full-Time Traineeship
• Qualification: Certificate III in Business (BSB30120)
• Duration: 12 Months

Duties May Include

• Providing general administrative support to the office team
• Answering and directing phone calls
• Managing incoming and outgoing emails and correspondence
• Data entry and maintaining accurate records
• Filing, scanning and document management
• Assisting with day-to-day office operations
• Supporting staff with administrative tasks and business processes
• Delivering professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

About You

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia
• Completed Year 10 or equivalent
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Professional and friendly phone manner
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Able to complete any required pre-employment screening
