Title: Senior People and Culture Business Partner
Employment: Full time / Ongoing
Salary: $125,000 per annum (plus $15,900 + $2,500 NFP Salary Packaging)
Location: Surrey Hills VIC or Hobart TAS

About the role

Offering true breadth and depth, the role spans end-to-end case management, through to partnering with leaders on large-scale organisational change management, enabling you to influence outcomes at both an operational and strategic level.

This opportunity enables meaningful immersion across the industrial relations landscape, offering the experience and exposure, that will support progression through to future leadership roles.

This role reports to the National Manager, People Operations, and is supported by a national team of People and Culture specialists.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to an assigned portfolio of leaders, providing high-level guidance on industrial relations, legislation, and best practice people management
• Supporting your portfolio of managers through IR case work, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
• Supporting organisational change initiatives, including organisation wide restructures and change management activities
• Playing a hands-on role in enterprise agreement planning, working with unions, influencing strategies, implementation, and rollout
• Leading and contributing to strategic projects that build workforce capability and organisational effectiveness

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

• Demonstrated experience as a People & Culture Business Partner with strong case management experience
• Sound knowledge of legislative frameworks applicable to employment arrangements (NES, Enterprise Agreements, FW Rulings), SCHADS desirable
• Experience in industrial and employee relations, including high-level negotiation and dispute resolution skills, within a complex organisational environment
• Knowledge and experience in strategic and operational Human Resources requirements including employee relations, safety, employee engagement and development, and change management.
• High level written and spoken communication skills, including demonstrated ability to coach and be a knowledgeable resource
