Retail Manager

Job Description

Support a portfolio of shopping centres that includes Marrickville, Double Bay, Bondi and Surry Hills which will be your primary location. Build valuable, long-term relationships with a diverse mix of retailers, service providers, and key stakeholders. We require a NSW real estate licence for this role.

Who we’re looking for?

Current NSW Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain (with our support). Proven experience in retail or property management, ideally across multi-site portfolios. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach. Familiarity with tenancy systems and compliance processes; Microsoft Office proficiency.

The role

Join Knight Frank’s national retail team as a Retail Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations, presentation, and tenant engagement for a portfolio of shopping centres.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of daily retail and tenancy management across multiple centres, ensuring compliance and presentation standards. Act as the primary contact for tenants, resolving queries promptly and building strong relationships. Coordinate lease administration, compliance tasks (insurances, bank guarantees), and maintain accurate records. Monitor rental and control arrears, including issuing arrears letters to tenants. Support marketing initiatives, retailer engagement, and trading analysis to drive performance. Assist in co-ordinating casual mall leasing activities. Partner with facilities and portfolio managers to deliver seamless operations and meet KPIs.
