New Home Building Supervisor

DRHomes has been building quality homes across Southeast Queensland for over 17 years. We’re a well-established, hands-on residential builder with a strong pipeline of homes and projects across Brisbane’s southside.

We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor who enjoys being on site, working with trades and taking pride in delivering a quality home from start to finish.

3–5 years of residential construction site supervision experience is preferred for this position; however, we are equally interested in hearing from candidates who may have less experience but demonstrate strong construction knowledge, leadership skills, attention to detail and, most importantly, the right attitude and pride in the homes they deliver.

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of work, runs organized and efficient sites, and enjoys being part of a team that values quality, accountability and results.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the construction of new homes and projects from site start through to completion and handover, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, organisation and attention to detail.

Working closely with our construction team, suppliers and trades, you’ll coordinate each stage of the build to ensure projects are progressing efficiently, meeting programme and budget requirements, and being delivered to the high standard DRHomes expects.

Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who can build strong relationships with our trades and suppliers, communicate well with clients and take genuine ownership and pride in every home they supervise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple residential construction sites from start to finish

• Coordinate and manage trades to maintain build schedules

• Ensure all works meet company standards, plans and specifications

• Monitor budgets and manage cost control on each build

• Maintain high levels of site presentation and safety

• Communicate effectively with clients, trades and internal team members

• Deliver a smooth and professional handover experience

About You

• Strong technical knowledge of residential construction

• Solid understanding of local council requirements and building regulations

• Proven ability to manage multiple jobs and keep them on track

• Well organised with strong forward planning and scheduling skills

• Confident communicator with a professional approach

• Good computer literacy

• Proficiency in construction software applications is required

Essential Requirements:

• Trade Qualification in Carpentry

• Certificate IV in Building & Construction

• Site Supervisor or Builder's Licence

• Site Supervisor licence is specifically required for this role

• Construction White Card

• Current Driver's Licence
