Forklift Operator/ Warehouse General Hand

About the Role 

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual with a positive attitude to join our friendly and hardworking team in Homebush.

Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor, this is a hands-on role involving the following responsibilities:

• Manual handling of heavy loads – accurately picking and packing orders
• Forklift operations – unloading containers and stacking items in allocated areas and loading trucks for dispatch
• General warehouse duties – keeping the site clean, tidy and running smoothly while contributing to continuous improvement activities 

And, as part of a small team there is the opportunity to learn logistics systems and processes to grow and develop your skill set to contribute to logistics administration tasks.

What You’ll Need

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years recent warehousing and forklift operations experience
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• A valid forklift licence with high-reach and counterbalance proficiency

• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and reliable
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks and heavy lifting of up to 30kg
• Proficient communication and strong literacy and numeracy skills
• An ability to learn processes and follow instructions
• A commitment to working safely with a safety-first approach to all tasks
