THE ROLE

Reporting to the Executive Director in the Barwon Area, the Manager, Agency Performance Partnerships and System Support plays a key leadership role. The role is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Agency Performance Partnerships and System Support, which has responsibility for monitoring the performance of external service providers.

The Manager supports the department's strategic priorities of local solutions and place based approaches for managing the performance of funded organisations and is responsible for relationship building and agency performance at a local level. The Manager has responsibility for overseeing the implementation and monitoring of the Agency Monitoring Framework, including management of local service agreements and the collection and recording of performance data through data systems (SAMS2 Live Monitoring).

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of issues and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices to enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.
• Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders and collaborate on the strategic design and development of departmental objectives that impact statewide or significant localised service delivery to ensure effective, efficient and coordinated services are provided for all clients.
• Work with senior management to set and achieve key performance indicators and standards.
