About The Role

As part of a professional asphalt crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality road surfacing works while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

Operate and assist with asphalt equipment, including pavers, rollers and screeds.Carry out road resurfacing, patching, overlays and new asphalt construction.Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule.Follow all traffic management and workplace safety procedures.Complete pre-start checks and assist with the maintenance of equipment.Travel to various project sites throughout the region as required.Be available for early morning starts, overtime and occasional weekend work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).Experience operating or assisting with asphalt machinery, including rollers, pavers or screeds.Current unrestricted driver's licence with a safe driving record.Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
