The role on offer is in the Collie/Bunbury area so applicants will preferably reside there. However accommodation may be on offer for the right candidate. The roster is 7 on 7 off days and nights.

Qualifications & experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology is essential.

• Working at heights, forklift, and EWP tickets are desirable but not essential.

• Must have a current Arctick RHL license and C class drivers license.

• Experience working on HME mine site and civil machinery is highly desirable. Machines will include Komatsu electric drive dump trucks, Caterpillar graders, Caterpillar and Liebherr bulldozers, Komatsu, Liebherr, and O&K excavators, Caterpillar watercarts etc.

• On the job training will be given if more experience is required.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Perform breakdown diagnostics and repairs on a wide variety of mining machinery.

• Perform preventative maintenance on services and machine shutdowns as required.

• Perform project and upgrade work as well as refurbishments when required.

• Repair, make, replace wiring harnesses and electrical components as necessary.

• Implement all site requirements to a high standard and follow supervisor direction.

• Must be willing to work shift work as required.
