Chef

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Grill Chef to run our busy grill station. You will cook meats, seafood, and vegetables to exact temperature and quality standards. You must work well under pressure during fast-paced service.

The position is casual with the possibility of part-time or full-time in the near future for the right candidate. We are not offering sponsorship for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Station Setup: Prepare the grill station with ingredients, tools, and equipment before service.
• Cooking: Grill steaks, chicken, seafood, and vegetables to precise customer preferences and internal doneness rules.
• Safety: Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards, including proper labeling and preventing cross-contamination.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace during and after service.
• Teamwork: Communicate clearly with the rest of the kitchen crew and front-of-house staff When required, to ensure fast, accurate food delivery.
• Inventory: Monitor stock levels for the grill section and report needs to the head chef.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience working on a professional kitchen grill or hot line station.
• Skills: Strong timing, multitasking abilities, and calm focus under pressure.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (Tuesday to Sunday).
