Administration Assistant

Haymans Virginia is part of MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM), Australia’s largest electrical wholesaler. Known for great service, strong customer relationships and a down-to-earth approach, we’re a local team backed by a national network.

The Role

We’re looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Virginia branch and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a part-time role working approximately 20–25 hours across four days per week. We’re flexible on which days you work and can offer school-friendly hours.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Completing daily banking reconciliations and handling cash banking
• Processing supplier invoices and branch expenses
• Preparing and processing supplier returns
• Reviewing aged stock and accounts receivable reports
• Following up supplier and customer back orders
• Assisting with stock control and purchasing
• Ordering office supplies
• Assisting with event planning and general branch administration

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable managing a variety of tasks independently.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous administration experience, ideally in a busy or trade-based environment
• Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and follow tasks through
• Good communication skills across phone and email
• A willingness to help out wherever needed
