Senior Technical Platform Manager - Data Platform (Databricks)

We're looking for a senior Technical Platform Manager to support our Data Platform team, with a strong focus on Databricks platform optimisation and cost management.
The ideal candidate should have deep experience with Data bricks and cloud data platforms, with a proven track record of driving platform efficiency, governance, and cost optimisation initiatives. This role will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, prioritise, and deliver optimisation opportunities across the platform.
Key responsibilities would include:
Leading the platform cost optimisation agenda across Data bricks and associated cloud services.Working collaboratively with engineering, architecture, operations, and business teams to identify and implement optimisation opportunities.Establishing and tracking optimisation roadmaps, savings targets, and outcomes.Providing leadership and direction to a team of engineers focused on platform performance, efficiency, and cost management.Driving adoption of best practices across compute, storage, serverless, governance, and operational processes.Engaging with vendors and platform providers to leverage new capabilities and optimisation opportunities
