Cafe Cressida proudly calls the historic Queens Court building in the heart of Woollahra's shopping village home.

Nestled within a charming courtyard, Cafe Cressida is a much loved neighbourhood cafe, recently named one of Good Food's 100 Essential Sydney Cafes and Bakeries for 2026. We have a loyal local clientele and are committed to excellent coffee, food and warm hospitality.

The Roles

We are currently looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our front-of-house team in one of two roles:

Full-Time Barista

A permanent full-time position working Wednesday to Sunday, taking responsibility for consistently excellent coffee and beverage service.

Casual Cafe All Rounder / Barista

A casual position working across floor and beverage service. You must have barista experience and be confident independently covering the coffee station during breaks or when a barista is on leave.

Working with premium Genovese coffee, you'll enjoy getting to know our regular customers, remembering their favourite orders and building genuine relationships within the local community.

As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll also assist across other aspects of service when required. We're looking for people who take pride in what they do, enjoy working with guests and understand that great cafes are built on both excellent coffee and excellent hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve consistently excellent coffee and other beverages

• Maintain the coffee station, equipment and work areas to a high standard

• Provide genuine, attentive service to guests and build positive relationships with regulars

• Assist with food and beverage service, takeaway orders, POS and general floor duties

• Complete opening and closing procedures and daily checklists

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety

• Support a positive and collaborative team culture

Essential Requirements

• Proven barista experience in a busy, quality-focused cafe

• Confidence working independently on the coffee station

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy service periods

• Current NSW RSA Certificate

• Current Australian work rights
