WINDOW INSTALLER/GLAZIER

About the role

Hi-Glaze Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Window Installer/Glazier to join our team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on position based in Coffs Harbour Jetty, NSW, where you will be responsible for the professional installation and fitting of windows, glass panels, and glazing systems across residential and commercial projects. As a critical member of our building trades team, you will ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications, contributing directly to the quality and reputation of our company.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install windows and glass panels to precise specifications and building requirements

• Prepare surfaces and frames, ensuring they are clean, level, and ready for installation

• Apply sealants, caulking, and weatherproofing materials to ensure durability and water-tightness

• Handle and transport glazing materials safely, following appropriate health and safety protocols

• Operate and maintain specialised glazing tools and equipment

• Inspect completed installations to verify quality, fit, and finish meet project standards

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to site safety regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Window Installer or Glazier

• Comprehensive knowledge of window and glass installation techniques, materials, and industry standards

• Competency in reading and interpreting building plans, blueprints, and technical specifications

• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in glazing work

• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the building trades

• Ability to work accurately and maintain high standards of workmanship in all conditions

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to work

• Current driver's licence and ability to travel to various job sites

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in glazing,and window installation
