BLOOD MOTOR GROUP BLOOD MOTOR GROUP T/A GEELONG MAZDA & BLOOD HYUNDAI is looking for a Full-Time Accountant at our business location in Geelong, Victoria.   Salary: $80,000-$82,000 per annum + Superannuation Main activities/tasks Perform day-to-day accounting functions for the dealership. Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.

Reconcile floorplan and vehicle finance accounts. Process and reconcile vehicle sales, purchases, trade-ins, wholesale transactions, commissions, rebates and manufacturer incentives. Complete month-end and year-end accounting procedures and provide required reports to the Financial Controller.

Prepare monthly profit and loss reports and financial analysis. Prepare BAS, GST and other statutory reporting. Oversee Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, compliance and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Prepare financial statements for presentation to directors and management Maintain appropriate internal financial controls and accounting procedures. Identify accounting errors or discrepancies and report issues to the Financial Controller. Assist the Financial Controller with budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.

Provide accurate financial information to management as requested. Ensure all accounting records are maintained accurately, confidentially and in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.   Selection Criteria Bachelor's degree with 2 to 3 years' experience working in Automotive Dealerships
