Dealership Accountant

Noble Automotive is part of the 4K Automotive Group, a trusted and family-operated business delivering outstanding customer service across Canterbury-Bankstown region.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dealership Accountant to join our team in Campbelltown, with travel to our Chullora and Revesby locations as required.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records
• Complete monthly accounting and financial reporting requirements within agreed deadlines
• Assist with preparation and review of monthly Profit & Loss statements
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist with preparation and review of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Floorplan reconciliations
• Analyse dealership financial performance and identify key trends
• Assist management in understanding departmental results
• Assist with implementation of new accounting systems and processes
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Provide guidance and support to Accounts team

What You’ll Bring

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence, with the ability to travel to sites as required
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CPA studies underway
• Previous experience in a dealership accounting role is essential
• Experience with automotive dealership accounting systems is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with dealership management and other departments
