About the role

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assemble and wire complex control panels, machine assemblies, safety circuits, drives, sensors and industrial control systems for custom automation equipment.

• Use of hand tools for wire crimping and cable assembly 

• Organise component layout for panel installation 

• Deliver tasks to the production schedule  

• Undertake fault finding to component level 

• Liaise with team leads / supervisors regarding job scheduling, product design, manufacturing procedures, job costing, and other similar tasks.
   

About you:

• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Experience with cable assembly, control panel wiring, and electrical component installation.

• Competent in the use of hand and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good computer literacy and documentation skills.

• Strong awareness of workplace safety and safe work practices.
   

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrical Fitting or Electrical diploma or equivalent- essential

• EA103A- Operation (Electrical) legislative Requirements

• WAE100 or EA106 Electrical Requirements

• Electrical License- essential

• WA Driver’s License

Desirable

• Experience wiring PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.

• Experience with AC/DC wiring and drive wiring.

• Previous experience in switchboard assembly, machinery manufacturing, or industrial automation.

• Understanding of IPC-620 standards.

• Forklift Licence.

We're looking for motivated individuals with backgrounds in panel wiring, switchboard assembly, industrial controls, machinery manufacturing, or electrotechnology. Electrical Fitter and Electrician applicants must hold a current electrical licence.
